Hugh Taylor is delighted to have the opportunity to serve the Company as Prime Warden for 2023/24.
Goals
His theme of Entrepreneurship for the year, will encourage all ages to explore the opportunities entrepreneurship brings.
Saddlery training will be reviewed. As part of this, a Working Group has been assembled, including members outside of the Company, with the aim of developing a saddlery training proposal.
Hugh is keen to create even stronger ties with the City and fellow Livery Companies. Along with attending the normal inter-livery events (such as; golf, clay pigeon and tennis) Saddlers is keen to create and host its own inter livery sporting competition. This will be the Saddlers’ Inter-Livery Padel Tennis Tournament at the Lawn Tennis Association HQ in May 2024.
