The Saddlers’ and Loriners’ Companies have joined forces to establish an independent authority for equine fitters. The Equine Fitters Council will set standards, promote education, and encourage professional practice in the industry. The associated Directory will provide a comprehensive, audited and independent resource for equine professionals, businesses, riders, and horse owners. Listed fitters may therefore be trusted to hold their stated credentials, to have suitable insurance, have agreed to a strict Code of Conduct, and be committed to ongoing professional development and training.
