Ed Bracher, Chief Executive, RDA UK: “This has felt like such a team effort, so it made the official opening extra special to be surrounded by many of the people and organisations that helped us. We were delighted to welcome Prime Warden James Welch and David Snowden, so they could see for themselves the difference this facility will make to RDA in the local area and all over the UK and, of course, it was fitting that your Master (and RDAʼs President) HRH The Princess Royal was here to actually open the Centre. In our 50th year, the event also provided a welcome focal point for our celebrations – to demonstrate how far RDA as come and prepare us for the challenges we face in recruiting and training the next generation of volunteers and coaches. The support we get from Saddlers has made a huge difference to RDA over the years – not just financially but also the understanding of what RDA does, the impact we have and the difference we can make. Thank you to the whole Company for everything you do for us. Follow the RDA at https://www.rda.org.uk/
