Mercy Welbeck, new Creative Director at the Abram Wilson Foundation, and Trustee James Emtage called into Saddlers’ Hall this week to receive a cheque for over £15,000. Many members of the Company had made donations, attended music events and fund raised through volunteering to reach this significant sum. Ben Laurie and Jan Smith of the Saddlers’ Company were on hand to celebrate this milestone and to congratulate the Abram Wilson Foundation for all that they do to make music more accessible. The charity inspires, connects and opens doors to the music industry so that minoritised young talent has an equal chance to realise their creative potential. All Saddlers’ are incredibly proud of this partnership and wish all those at the Charity the very best in the months ahead.
