Capel Manor College offers the Diploma in Saddle, Harness and Bridle Making as well as coursed in leather work and shoe making.
The Saddlers Charity provides £20,000 per year to enable students to attend and complete their training. These funds are used for tools, materials, exam entry frees and means tested bursaries to help with such costs as accommodation and travel.
Their two year courses are a great route into the craft skills of leather work and saddlery whilst their short weekend courses provide an introduction to the trade.
