Saddlers’ entered the Annual Inter-Livery Sailing Regatta last weekend at Cowes, on the Isle of Wight. It was fantastic to team up with charity ThePlan-B.
ThePlan-B charity works with young people from Hampshire and surrounding South East areas of the UK, supporting children and young adults who are unable to engage with mainstream education. Their experienced and caring staff offer students a ‘place to belong’ by delivering vocational education as a basis of engagement and training which can lead into a route to employability.
It was the first time in the regatta for Saddlers’ Company, so we were even more thrilled, and a little surprised, to get a win in the battle for the Lord Mayor’s Cup.
