The Saddlers have worked in partnership with the Society of Master Saddlers since its inception. The Society is the principle representative and membership body for the trade and the vast majority of practioners in manufacture, retail, repair and fitting are members. This positive relationship encourages innovation in the industry and enables the Saddlers to support those in the trade via an annual £10,000 grant. Recent additional grants have included £5,000 to update the SMS City and Guilds Flocking Qualification. You can visit the SMS site here.
