The Worshipful Company of Saddler's work today is organised around three pillars: trade, charity and equestrianism. Each pillar has its own page covering the Company's partners, funding and activities.
Trade: the Company underwrites the work of the Society of Master Saddlers and supports saddlery skills qualifications, including the Level 1 leather award introduced in 2024.
Charity: the Company administers three charitable trusts and a charitable fund, including Kitchin's Charity, the Saddler's Company Charitable Fund and Kaye's and Labourne's Charity.
Equestrianism: the Company provides training grants through the British Equestrian Federation and funds equine research at bodies including the Royal Veterinary College.
The Company organises its work around three pillars: Trade, Equestrianism and Charity. Together they support the craft of saddlery, British equestrian sport, and charitable causes tied to education and hardship relief.
See the trade, charity and equestrianism pages for details on partners and activities in each area.
