Mercy Welbeck, new Creative Director at the Abram Wilson Foundation, and Trustee James Emtage called into Saddler's Hall to receive a cheque for over £15,000, raised through donations, music events and volunteering by members of The Saddler's Company.
Many members of the Company made donations, attended music events and fundraised through volunteering to reach the significant sum. Ben Laurie and Jan Smith of the Saddler's Company were on hand to celebrate the milestone and congratulate the Abram Wilson Foundation for its work making music more accessible.
The charity inspires, connects and opens doors to the music industry so that minoritised young talent has an equal chance to realise their creative potential. Saddlers described themselves as incredibly proud of the partnership and wished the Foundation the very best in the months ahead. Further information is available at abramwilson.com.
