## Recognising Excellence in Fitting

Master Saddler John Robinson joined over 300 attendees at the BETA Awards Dinner at the NEC, an event that recognises those who strive for the highest standards in saddlery fitting and who have been nominated by their own satisfied customers and clients. Presenting the Equine Fitter of the Year award to Sophie Sperling on behalf of the Equine Fitters Council, Robinson recognised her hard work, her commitment to equine welfare and her personal touch with clients.

At Sperling Saddles, Sophie's primary goal is, in her own words, to '...ensure that your horse has the best fitted saddle to allow for freedom of movement without compromise, and for you as the rider to feel at one with your horse.' She offers a range of new saddles designed to suit horses and riders across all levels and styles, from the competitive to the more relaxed.

## Part of a Wider Trade Effort

The award sits within the Company's wider partnership with the Equine Fitters Council and Directory, the voluntary regulatory body it leads jointly with the Loriners' Company to set standards for equine fitting professionals. Congratulations were extended to Sophie and to all those nominated for the award.
